Updated to 2.1.1 and lost live wallpapers

Post by Casper711 » Fri Mar 11, 2016 4:35 pm

Does anyone have the black hole live wallpaper that came on the radio prior to any updates? This may sound foolish but I really like that live wallpaper. If not, is there anyone from Insane Audio out there that could send me the file....please....please....please!!!! I didn't realize this would mess with the wallpapers.

Just wanted to say thanks Ben for getting this wallpaper back. Y'all have got to be the best support team alive haha. Other companies need to take notice.....if they could.

You're too kind! :D Glad we could get that one figured out! If anyone else misses the Black Hole wallpaper that was available on Update 2.0, here's how you can get it on your 2.1.1-updated unit:

To Install Black Hole Wallpaper:
1. Download the file. You can find it here: http://www.insanejeepaudio.com/JK1001_UPDATES/ -> Select BlackHole.apk -> Download that file
2. Place a MicroSD card in to your PC. (Be sure it is formatted to NTFS or FAT32)
3. Place the wallpaper file on to the MicroSD card.
4. Remove the MicroSD card from your PC and place it in the lower right MicroSD card slot in your FJ/JK1001.
5. Open the “FileManage” application on your Insane Audio unit.
6. Select the “SD” option in the left margin.
7. Double-tap the filename. (BlackHole.apk)
8. Tap the “Install” button.
9. Click the “Done” button, once the wallpaper has installed.
10. Long press on a blank part of the home screen, select “Live Wallpapers,” and select the Black Hole option. Be sure to tap “Set Wallpaper,” once it loads.

FYI you can install this from the jk1001 through your browser. Saves the effort in ejecting card and being near a pc.
